Some have effects even at <parts per billion (<ppb) which is equivalent to one drop in a backyard pool! Minute 22:15 discusses issues with endocrine disruptors such as: Infertility, slow development, changes in metabolism and behavior (both good and bad) and immune deficiency which leads to an increased risk of infectious disease. Minute 24:00 mentions there are over 84,000 at the time this video was made and 700 additional chemicals are added per year.

In a first-of-its-kind study, Environmental Defence (Canada) tested the impact of cleaning products on indoor air quality. In all 14 studied households, levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) went up during cleaning. VOCs are a group of chemicals that have been linked to serious health problems like asthma and can impact fetal development.
